Individual Reading Remediation An individualized instruction plan will be created for each child and target their areas of need in reading, writing, and spelling based on assessment results. Students in need of language skills, word reading and spelling skills, and comprehension skills will be provided systematic, language-based, structured, and sequential instruction that matches their particular needs. Parents will receive a written description of clinical tasks completed during each session as well as suggestions for home study. Individual Handwriting Remediation Troubles with handwriting can affect a student's entire school day. Common issues seen in handwriting include written letter/number reversals, improper letter formation, pencil grip, and spacing/sizing. Materials and methodology from Handwriting Without Tears® are used to assist with the most common handwriting issues.
